Refinery gas is produced during crude oil refining. Typical composition
is C1-C5 Paraffins, C6+ Paraffins, C2-C5 Olefins and
non-condensable gases like H2, O2, N2, CO and CO2. This gas
is also used as petrochemical feed stock that is used in several
catalytic processes. Determining the composition of Refinery gas
and measurement of trace sulfur content is very important. Trace
amount of sulfurs can poison the catalyst used in processes, which
can cost millions of dollars.
