An optionally available Tensile test set, comprising steel, brass and aluminium profiled test specimens.
Four electrical resistance strain gauges are attached to the surface of the profiled test specimens. Integral leads are attached to the strain gauges, which are coloured to match the HSM18 sockets to make connection quick and easy.
A 40 : 1 metal lever rests on a fulcrum, and with the weights and hanger of the HSM18, allows the Tensile load to be applied.
